Sarah feels nervous. Today is her first day at work. She wears her best clothes. She looks professional.
The office building is tall and modern. Sarah goes inside. She sees many people. They walk fast. They look busy. Sarah doesn't know where to go.
"Hello, are you Sarah?" asks a woman. The woman smiles. She is friendly. "Yes, I am," Sarah answers. "Welcome! I am Linda. I am your manager. Follow me."
Linda shows Sarah the office. It is big and bright. There are many desks. People work on computers. Some people drink coffee. Everyone looks professional.
"This is your desk," Linda says. Sarah sits down. The desk is clean and new. There is a computer and a phone. "I will work here," Sarah thinks. She feels excited now.
Linda introduces Sarah to her coworkers. "This is Mark. This is Jennifer. This is David." Everyone says hello. They are nice and welcoming. Sarah feels more comfortable.
"Don't worry," Mark says. "The first day is always difficult. But you will learn quickly." Sarah smiles. She is ready to start her new job.
